Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta-4?

The names are often mixed together. The seven-amino-acid acetylated fragment and the full-length 43-amino-acid molecule are different. Check the exact sequence in each study or product record.

What are the proven benefits of TB-500?

The sources in this guide do not establish an injectable TB-500 fragment treatment for injury recovery, muscle growth or general wellness. There is research interest in related biology, including small human studies of full-length eye formulations. Read those results with their exact molecule, route and condition attached.

Does an animal study mean it works in people?

It can give scientists a useful clue. People differ from study animals in many ways, and a lab model may not match a real illness. Human studies must test the benefit and harms directly.

What did the eye studies test?

They tested RGN-259, an eye formulation containing full-length thymosin beta-4, in specific eye conditions. They did not test a retail seven-amino-acid fragment injection for a sports injury.

Can TB-500 help a tendon or muscle injury?

Online claims run ahead of the direct human evidence covered here. A proper assessment needs a diagnosis and options tested for that condition. The study explorer helps show why cell, animal and eye-drop findings cannot settle this question.

Is there a safe dose or injection plan on this site?

No. The sources reviewed do not establish a safe personal-use plan for online TB-500 products. We explain the research without turning experiments into treatment instructions.

Does research use only mean safe for people?

No. It describes a stated research purpose, not human-use authorization or a clinical safety finding. Health Canada addresses this in its online injectable peptide advisory.

Is TB-500 permitted in tested sport?

The 2026 WADA list includes thymosin beta-4 and derivatives such as TB-500 under S2.3, prohibited at all times. Check with your anti-doping organization about your sport and current rules.

Is a high purity percentage enough to trust a product?

No. Identity, amount, impurities, sterility, stability and clinical evidence are separate checks. Read the batch report and the limits of each test.

Why link to GotPeptide?

Its peptide guide covers the basics, and its compound profiles offer wider context. TB-500.ca, GotPeptide and Get Brio share ownership in the Pat & Tony Cannabis portfolio. Links and paid banners do not prove safety or a health benefit.

Can I share the infographic?

Yes. Download the PNG or use the page’s sharing controls. Keep the source address and the review date visible so people can find the full explanation.

How do I report an error?

Email hello@tb-500.ca with the page address, the sentence and the original source you think should change. Please keep private medical details out of the message.
